Hulya House Paradise, home away from home.

We stayed at Hulya house for 2 weeks Aug-Sep 2007, 2 adults and 2 children, aged 11 and 7. The house is amazing, it is furnished to a high standard, and is fantastically equipped. The welcome pack was a godsend. A car is a must with this house, but the owners can organise this for you, along with transfers from Larnaca airport, if needed. The transfer from, and to, Larnaca was totally hassle free and very inexpensive. The surrounding area is very peaceful, a real get away from it all holiday. Kyrenia is approx 20 minutes away by car, and very easy to find. Supermarkets, restaurants and beaches are all a short car ride away. Escape beach was our favourite, and great for kids. Favourite restaurants were Carpenters and Ambiance, the latter providing a fantastic setting for dinner, and also very children friendly. Northern Cyprus is definitely worth a visit, we had visited the South several times and were interested in seeing the North before it became too touristy. A long drive down to the panhandle, is also worth a visit if you're adventourous. We stayed overnight at the turtle beach campsite, which was an experience, and not for those wanting home comforts, but it was something we would thoroughly recommend, and the children loved it. Anyway, back to the villa. I would thoroughly recommend a holiday at Hulya House to anyone wanting to get away from it all, it's a little off the beaten track, but that's what makes it so special, it's an amazing place with a fantastic pool and the owners and caretakers couldn't be more helpful if they tried. Definitely a must, ENJOY.

We came this time of the year, because my captaincy at our local golf club finished on the 4th Nov. All the amenities the owners stated, were all fulfilled. The weather was also a bonus, and were able to use the pool most days. Eating at home was just as enjoyable, because of the availability of fresh vegatables and wonderful cuts of meat. Local resturants were also exellent and in-expensive.Refreshing that people were so friendly and helpful. Was able to play golf on two occasions.

Fabulous villa, very clean. The pool area was excellent and the water so warm. Location was ideal, plenty of restaurants to choose from. I would recommend one of the boat trips from Kyrenia Harbour, you can swim from the boat, the water was so warm and clear. Also snorkelling from one of the coves close to the villa.

thankyou

i have had three fabulous holidays staying at Hulya, one with my family and parents in June 06,and two with a friend in Oct 06 and April 07, just to relax and recharge the batteries, and all have been excellent. The house wrapped me in a relaxing calm, most welcome chilled out feeling which, although difficult to describe, never left me and Hulya immediatly felt like home from the moment I stepped through the large welcoming front door and and i do indeed call Hulya House my Haven. The house is absolutely spotless when you arrive, very tastfully decorated and lovely furniture and fittings, with freshly made beds, towels laid out, and with welcome pack of essentials and the obligatory Efes beer,to have by the lovely well maintained pool and super patio/garden while you take in your first sighting of the fantastic mountain view.. Totally fully equipped with everything you could need for the kitchen, and should you wish to leave the beautiful house, it is perfectly situated for a short drive into kyrenia, and all the major tourist hot spots.Perfect for all ages. With the management company and the excellent Barbara and Graham on hand for any problems or questions Hulya House is a fabulous Holiday home from home,Highly recommended, indeed i would happily live there if possible.

The Villa was lovely, everything you needed was provided and spotlessly clean. Temperature in the 40's so the pool was a welcome relief. Thanks for a lovely stay.
